Hello Friends and Family

To help you prepare, we’ve included a few final details below. One thing to know: once you arrive, you’re officially at camp, Derek and Brett style. The entire weekend will take place on-site at UCLA Lake Arrowhead Lodge. There is no need to drive anywhere after check-in. All meals, activities, and celebrations will be on property.

The Lodge has been reserved exclusively for Derek and Brett’s wedding weekend, which means every guest you encounter throughout the property will be part of the celebration.

A quick note for navigation:
our venue is UCLA Lake Arrowhead Lodge (850 Willow Creek Rd, Lake Arrowhead, CA 92352, also known as Bruin Woods), not Lake Arrowhead Resort & Spa, which is a separate property nearby.

THE request is that you have fun...join a pickleball game, take the boat ride, linger over breakfast, make a new friend, and enjoy yourselves.We cannot wait to welcome you.

FRIDAY, JUNE 12
4:00 PM: CHECK-IN BEGINS
Settle in, explore the grounds, reconnect with old friends, and enjoy the mountain air.

6:30 PM: WELCOME SOIRÉE
Join us lakeside for cocktails, dinner, and the official start of the weekend.
Attire: Relaxed Cocktail

9:00 PM: STARLIGHT & SPECTACLE
As the sun sets, we’ll make our way to the camp amphitheater for an evening under the stars. while the paths are paved, We recommend comfortable footwear suitable for a short uphill walk. Mobility assistance will be available for anyone who would prefer it.

Following Starlight & Spectacle, the Tavern Bar will remain open until midnight. Feel free to linger, reconnect with old friends, and ease into the weekend.

SATURDAY, JUNE 13
8:30 AM – 9:30 AM: BREAKFAST Available in the Main Dining Room.
MORNING ADVENTURES & LAKESIDE LEISURE
Utilizing the SIGN UP SHEET Please select which activities you'd be interested IN.
LAKE PONTOON CRUISE: Confirmation to follow based on availability.

11:00 AM – 2:30 PM: SWIM & SOCIAL CLUB at the Pool
Join us poolside for sunshine, swimming, music, and lunch. Whether you’re diving in, relaxing in the shade, challenging a friend to pickleball, or catching up with friends from a lounge chair, we’d love to see everyone stop by.

12:00 PM: LUNCH
Available both poolside and in the Main Dining Room.
Take some time to relax, refresh, and get ready for the main event. 

4:00 PM: CEREMONY BEGINS
Please arrive a few minutes early and allow time to find your seat.
Attire: Cocktail Formal

10:00 PM - 12:00 AM: THE NIGHTCAP For those not quite ready to call it a night, join us in the Iris Room for late-night cocktails, music, and one final gathering to close out an unforgettable day.

SUNDAY, JUNE 14
9:00 AM – 10:00 AM: FAREWELL BREAKFAST
One last meal together before heading home. Come as you are. Casual attire encouraged.
11:00 AM: CHECK-OUT.

PACKING FOR THE MOUNTAINS
June in Lake Arrowhead typically brings warm, sunny days and cool mountain evenings.Daytime temperatures often range from the mid-70s to mid-80s, while evenings can cool into the 40s and 50s.We recommend bringing layers, a light jacket, or a wrap for nighttime events.

FOOTWEAR
The wedding ceremony and reception will take place on grass and finished flooring, so feel free to wear your favorite shoes.For Friday evening’s Starlight & Spectacle, we recommend comfortable footwear suitable for a short uphill walk.

HYDRATION
As you make your way up the mountain, remember that the change in elevation can be surprisingly noticeable.Stay hydrated throughout the weekend and you’ll be ready to enjoy everything camp has to offer.

A heads up to those driving to Lake Arrowhead from Los Angeles:
The FIFA World Cup is taking place in the Los Angeles area, with matches hosted at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood. As a result, guests may experience heavier-than-usual traffic, particularly on portions of the 405, 105, 110, and 10 freeways, as well as surrounding routes. If you're driving to Lake Arrowhead on Friday, we recommend allowing extra travel time and departing earlier than you normally would, especially if your route takes you through central Los Angeles or the South Bay. Once you reach the Inland Empire, traffic conditions are expected to return closer to normal before the drive up the mountain.
